The Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation is a community-based non-profit organization protecting the natural and community heritage of Lake of Bays, including the Township and watershed. Founded by permanent and seasonal residents in 1985, we are a member of the Ontario Land Trust Alliance.
Operated by a volunteer Board, the Foundation encourages the protection of our heritage through education, voluntary stewardship, conservation easements, land donations and land acquisitions. We focus on the long-term preservation of heritage for future generations and maintain a close working relationship with the Township, the Lake of Bays Association and other conservation groups.
