The Land Conservancy for Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington works to preserve wild lands in the Ontario counties of Frontenac and Lennox and Addington, providing vital habitat for diverse plant and animal species.

Thanks to the generous donations of landowners, members, supporting individuals, and funders, the Land Conservancy now protects thirteen properties with a total area of 1100 acres, providing habitats for 18 species at risk. To preserve these habitats for all the animal and plant species that thrive there, most Land Conservancy properties are not open to the public. They are nature reserves for the purpose of their long-term conservation.
