Online Donations – Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority

Your contribution makes it possible for Canadian land trusts and American Friends to permanently protect Canada’s lakes, rivers, shorelines, wetlands, forests, for the benefit or fish, wildlife, and all of us.

American Friends assists organizations dedicated to protecting Canada’s iconic landscapes by accepting gifts of cash, securities and land from US taxpayers who recommend grants to American Friends’ partners. American Friends is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a publicly-supported charity; therefore gifts to American Friends are tax deductible to U.S. taxpayers

By selecting Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority from the list below you can recommend that your donation (minus a small percentage retained by American Friends to cover costs of administering its grant program) be used to make a grant to a specific Canadian conservation organization. Grantees meet American Friends’ strict eligibility criteria and are in good standing with American Friends. Please read the terms for making grant recommendations to American Friends. (If your favorite Canadian conservation charity is not listed, encourage them to contact American Friends.)

If you wish to support American Friends’ innovative and successful cross-border conservation program that is permanently preserving ecologically significant land and water across Canada simply select its name from the list below.

By selecting a Canadian grantee, you are acknowledging that American Friends’ board has absolute discretion and exclusive power to decide whether or not to follow your recommendation and that, as required by the Internal Revenue Service, American Friends will not accept contributions earmarked for or directed to a specific Canadian organization.

You can donate as little or as much as you’d like. Just type the amount in the box below and click Donate Now to begin the process. The website will issue a receipt and an official gift acknowledgement letter for tax purposes will follow via email.

If you prefer to send a check go to the Donate Cash page for instructions.  To donate securities, please contact Sandra Tassel, 360-515-7171 or info@conservecanada.org.
